As part of their Heritage Lottery Funded All Our Stories project supported by Cambridge Community Heritage, the Freudian Slips will be delivering a performance about the washer women of Cambridge inspired by their exhibition with CambIris - ‘It will all come out in the wash’.
Find out the secret of Lord Byron’s study – as revealed by a washerwoman; take the ‘Dab-it Off – farewell tour’ with your guide Marjorie Mountbank; reflect on the cycle of life, listen in on launderette conversations and learn about perfect ironing the Bernice Paterson way…. These ‘stories’ – and more- make up a delightful evening’s entertainment. There’s more to laundry than you think!
