This course will provide expert hands-on tuition applying some of advanced osteological skills with group size limited to 12. If you wish to attend you will either need to have attended the basic course at Luton Museum (one is scheduled for 17th May 2014) or be able to: identify basic bones, age and sex a skeleton; identify the following pathologies: caries, tooth loss, trauma, arthritis, infection, Cribra orbitilia. There will be in-depth sessions on pathologies, siding and teeth, and with an opportunity to conduct analysis of previously unstudied human remains. This will be making use of Luton Museum's extensive human remains and other archaeological material associated with the collections. Suitable for intermediate and advanced level osteology wanting a refresher.

The cost is £75 with lunch included, and booking is essential.
